The Kids' Community Guide was created as a service to the community by the parents of Woodland Montessori School of Harrisonburg. Our goal was to create a comprehensive listing of all of the fun, interesting, and educational activities that there are to do with kids in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, Virginia.

• We distribute 5,000 copies free to families in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County through the Massanutten Regional Public Library, the Harrisonburg Children’s Museum, the Harrisonburg Tourism Office, the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce, the RMH Childcare Connection, and other outlets. In addition, a digital PDF of the guide is available right here, at www.kidscommunityguide.org.

• We continue distribution throughout the year at major community events such as the WVPT Book Fair and the Harrisonburg International Festival.

• The content of Kids’ Community Guide provides year-round resources for Valley families and your advertising remains in households for more than a year. We have added day trips and Field trip ideas.

• Kids’ Community Guide is a recognized community resource and the 2007 issue won a national award for community advertising publications.
